Located in the rolling hills of Holmes County, in the heart of Amish Country, Berlin, Ohio is The 
Farmstead Restaurant. The Farmstead opened its doors in 2003 specializing in traditional Amish cooking. Many of the recipes used come from original Amish recipes. Our Amish cooks and bakers are constantly striving to create authentic dishes and home made baked goods that appeal to everyone. All pastries and baked goods are made from scratch daily, which can be ordered from the menu or bought from our bakery and can be taken home to enjoy.
Our large salad bar is a favorite of many, along with our hot buffet which is served daily during the summer months. The buffet features roast beef, chicken, real homemade mashed potatoes, noodles and vegetables, along with many other homemade Amish foods. The mouth watering desserts are also a great feature to the buffet. You may purchase our homemade baked goods which include homemade Amish pies, cookies, breads and much more. We also offer birthday cakes, muffins, apple butter, and our famous Amish Peanut Butter spread. Daily specials are offered along with all you can eat fish on Friday nights. Thursdays we offer our prize winning ribs which were voted peoples choice and judges choice to be the best in Holmes County.
Our beautiful spacious building is capable of hosting groups for banquets, parties, meetings and 
bus groups. Centrally located, the Farmstead is a convenient place for locals and tourists to meet and the beautiful landscaping is a draw for many who want to enjoy the Amish surroundings and way of life.
The restaurant is located just off of US 62, north of main street. Within walking distance are many area attractions which include Antique Trading Post, Antique Mall and J & J Woodcraft.
